These terms govern your use of GetPetitionReady.com. By using the site you accept them. A Petition Ready licence is governed by its own licence agreement; if the two differ, the licence agreement prevails.
1. Who we are
The site is run by LegiShield Ltd, Lagos, Nigeria. Contact: elections@legishield.com.
2. Who the site is for
Petition Ready is for legal practitioners enrolled at the Supreme Court of Nigeria, and for chambers and institutions of legal practitioners. LegiShield is not a law firm. It sells the same software on the same terms to counsel for every side.
3. Not legal advice
Nothing on this site is legal advice, and using it creates no lawyer–client relationship with LegiShield. Statements of law and dates are general, and correct as at the date shown. Laws, rules and INEC timetables change. Check every date and authority before you rely on it. A licensed lawyer makes every decision in a matter.
4. No outcome claims
We make no promise about the outcome of any case, and nothing on the site should be read as one. Examples use invented sample clients.
5. AI-generated and fictional material
Dr. Haruna Obi, the characters in the "21 Days" series and many images on this site are AI-generated and fictional. Any resemblance to real people is unintended. The series is a story, not a report of real events.
6. The Map
The filing gap map is described here only in general terms. Its contents are confidential to licensees. Nothing on this site grants any right to it.
7. Intellectual property
LegiShield or its licensors own the site and its content, including text, design, videos and images. Weaponising Elections is the work of its author. You may share links to the site and quote short extracts with credit. Do not copy, republish or sell the site's content without written permission.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site. That includes:
- attempting to break it or gain unauthorised access;
- scraping it at scale;
- impersonating anyone;
- sending us client confidences, or unlawful or abusive material.
9. Links
Links to other sites are for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
10. Liability
The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, LegiShield is not liable for loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction. We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new date.
